The USS Victorious is organized into ten working departments. Each department has a specific responsibility and specific positions which have their own specific responsibilities. The departments and their general responsibilities are listed below.
 | Command The Command Department is responsible for the daily day to day operations of the chapter in general, finances and property of the chapter. |
 | Operations The Operations Department is responsible for the operations activities such as monthly meetings, awards and promotions boards, collection of department reports, coordination with departments for chapter activities. |
 | Communications The Communications Department is responsible for the chapter by-monthly newsletter called the “OCEAN STATE“. The department also represents the chapter and coordinates with both civilian and military agencies, and the media. |
 | Medical Medical Department has two very important responsibilities within the chapter. The first is keeping the crew informed of medical issues and topics. The second responsibility is the moral of the chapter. This is accomplish by coordinating the chapter monthly fun activities such as movie nights, cookouts, conventions etc. |
 | Security The Security Department is responsible for safe conditions for ship activities, assists in tile preparations of ship meetings and activities, serve as security at conventions and conferences. The Security Department also assist with transportation and routes to these events. |
 | Engineering The Engineering Department is responsible for the ships Star Trek Library and technical database. They also are responsible for any chapter computer gaming and simulators. |
 | Science The Science Department is responsible for keeping the chapter informed of real science technologies and discoveries from our past, present and future, The department also coordinates information for events that are related to both technology and that of the environment. |
 | Support Services The Support Services Department is responsible for creating and maintaining a ships store for both ship and Star Trek merchandising. The Department also assists with Personnel issues, Food Services, Transportation and much more. |
| Diplomatic Corps Diplomatic Corps is responsible for maintain communications with other chapters and organizations such as KAG, Starfleet Command, UFPI etc. |
 | 699th Marine Strike Group The 699th Marine Strike Group (699th MSG) is a STARFLEET Marine Corps Special Operations unit assigned to the USS Victorious. |
 | Alpha Company, 3rd Battalion, 4th MACO Group Alpha Company (MCO-A-0304). One of several Task Force 31 Military Assault Command Operations units. MACOs are Starfleet’s most elite of all its Special Operations units. |
 | Cadet Corps The Cadet Corps represents all crewmembers who are currently designated as Cadet, Cadet 1st Class, Cadet 2nd Class, Cadet 3rd Class and Cadet 4th Class. While these cadets are assigned to a department listed above, the cadets will still wear the Cadet Corps patch until such time that they are no longer considered a part of the Cadet Corps. |
