Starfleet Task Force 31 offers two membership paths—each designed to welcome fans, families, and future officers into the task force.
Individual Membership
Open to anyone 18 years or older, this option is perfect for those joining the fleet on their own. It grants full access to all rights, privileges, and opportunities within Starfleet Task Force 31.
Family Membership
Created for households that want to serve together, this membership includes one adult and up to five additional members under the age of 18 who share the same legal residence. It may also include an adult with a physical or mental disability that prevents independent decision‑making. Family Membership provides the same rights and privileges as an Individual Membership—just extended to your entire family.
Starfleet Task Force 31 offers a two‑stage membership journey designed to welcome new recruits and support long‑term service.
Stage One: Initial Enlistment
When you join Task Force 31 for the first time, you begin with a one‑year enlistment. Your membership expiration date is set exactly one year from the day you enlist. As that date approaches, you’ll choose how you want your journey to continue.
Your Options at Renewal
Option 1 — Separation from the Fleet If you decide not to continue your service, you may request discharge from Starfleet Task Force 31. Once processed, your membership records will be removed from the database within sixty days. To begin this process, simply notify either the STF31 Director of Fleet Personnel Operations or your chapter’s Commanding Officer, who will forward your request.
Option 2 — Continue Your Mission If you take no action, your membership will automatically extend for an additional three‑year enlistment. Your expiration date will be updated accordingly, and your service to the task force continues uninterrupted.
Stage Two: Ongoing Service
Beginning at the end of your first three‑year tour, this renewal cycle continues for as long as you choose to serve with Starfleet Task Force 31. Whether your commitment lasts a single year or spans many tours, the path forward—and the adventure that comes with it—remains entirely in your hands.
