The first starship to bear the name USS Nomad was the USS Nomad NCC-72382 was a Nova Class Starship which was a correspondence chapter based in Canada and established in 2020with Captain Joel Robert Ehl as her Commanding Officer.
The ship’s fictional timeline began in 2379, shortly after the USS Voyager’s return from the Delta Quadrant.
Today we begin our journey as a chapter of Starfleet Task Force 31. The USS Nomad NCC-72382-A was launched on February 6, 2023, a Sovereign Class Starship and is the second starship to bear the name USS Nomad.
For the next five (5) months we will undergo our shakedown cruise and work out any of the bugs in our systems and operations.
