History of the USS Titan

The USS Titan started out by several members of the USS Gallifrey who all resided in Wilmington NC. These members decided that they wanted to venture out and start a Task Force 31 chapter in their area. In September 2021 the members split on what would be their next move towards becoming a chapter, The current crew decided to go with a more known cannon starship, the crew decided on the USS Titan, a Lunar Class Starship.

With the USS Gallifrey as her Support Chapter, the USS Titan was officially launched as the USS Titan NCC-80102 on September 29, 2021. The chapters area of operations is the Wilmington, NC area.

For the next nine months (Also known as the Shakedown Cruise) would work on chapter organization, membership materials, chapter logo. Also, for those members interested in community service activities, the USS Titan adopted several projects that include recycling, Box Tops for Education, Local Food Bank, and during the Christmas holidays, we support the Angel Tree and the USMC Reserves Toys for Tots.

The USS Titan concluded her nine-month shakedown cruise on June 29, 2022, and officially commissioned on June 30, 2022.
