STF31 Sector Nine Scholastic Achievement Awards

The STF31 Sector Nine Scholastic Achievement Awards are non-annual awards which means the awards listed below can be submitted at any time during the calendar year. All members of the sector are eligible.

STF31 SECTOR NINE SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

MCCOY ORDER OF MERIT
Criteria:
Awarded by the Sector Chief to any member who has received official and accredited medical certifications.

There are four levels for this award, with each level having a specific attachment device:

4th Class – No Dots – CPR Certified & Nursing Aides
3rd Class – 1 Dot Lower Left Corner – EMT & Medics
2nd Class – 2 Dots, 1 Lower Left Corner and 1 Upper Right Corner – LPN & RNs
1st Class – 3 Dots, 1 Lower Left Corner, 1 Upper Left Corner and 1 Upper Right Corner – MD and PA
Ribbon Description:

Green White and Green with a Gold Border
OFFICERS BASIC COURSE
Criteria:
Awarded to a sector member who successfully completes the STF31 Officer’s Basic Course.
Ribbon Description:
Maroon Red
OFFICER ADVANCE COURSE
Criteria:
Awarded to a sector member who successfully completes the STF31 Officer Advance Course.
Ribbon Description:
Maroon Red with a silver 4pt star device.
FLAG OFFICER COURSE
Criteria:
Awarded to a sector member who successfully completes the STF31 Flag Officer Course.
Ribbon Description:
Maroon Red with a gold 4pt star device.
SCHOLASTIC EXCELLENCE AWARD
Criteria:
This award is presented each term to sector members who are students that demonstrate Scholastic Excellence by making the school honor roll or dean’s list for any one quarter of an academic year for students in Elementary through High School and any semester of an academic year for students in college. A copy of the report card/record is required.

There are four levels for this award, with each level having a specific attachment device:

4th Class – Elementary (Red 5 Pointed Star)
3rd Class – Middle School (Blue 5 Pointed Star)
2nd Class – High School (White 5 Pointed Star)
1st Class – College (Black 5 Pointed Star)
Ribbon Description:
Red/Orange
RICHARD DAYSTROM ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Criteria:
This award is presented annually to sector members who complete the school year with a grade average of A’s or B’s. A copy of the students report card/record is required.

There are four levels for this award:

4th Class – Elementary (Red 5 Pointed Star)
3rd Class – Middle School (Blue 5 Pointed Star)
2nd Class – High School (White 5 Pointed Star)
1st Class – College (Black 5 Pointed Star)
Ribbon Description:
Construction Yellow
SILVER STAR OF ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Criteria:
This award is presented annually to sector members who graduates in the top ten percent (10%) of his/her graduating class.

Eligibility is limited to only

3rd Class – Middle School (Blue 5 Pointed Star)
2nd Class – High School (White 5 Pointed Star)
1st Class – College (Black 5 Pointed Star)
Ribbon Description:
Metallic Silver
