Sector 08 (aka Eighth Fleet or Sector Eight) is one of 15 geographic sectors within STARFLEET TASK FORCE 31 — The North America Star Trek Fan Club. Each sector is comprised of STF31 members and chapters. Sector 08 comprises of the following western states located in the United States of America: Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada.

Sector 08 consists of both meeting chapters and correspondence chapters. Many of these chapters take part in monthly meetings to discuss chapter business and to plan chapter activities. Each chapter engages in their own activities which can include but not limited to online chats, movie nights, costuming, gaming, attending conventions, and fundraising for their chapter and selected charities.
Once a year many of our Sector 08 members will come together for our Sector Summit, this will allow the members to share ideas on chapter and sector issues and activities, but in general it is a celebration of friendships and the enjoyment of sharing your interests with other like-minded people.
All the chapters in Sector 08 are actively seeking new members so please visit our Chapters page to find a Sector 08 chapter that may best suit your needs. If it is your desire to start your own chapter within the Sector feel free to contact the Sector 08 Chief or any of the Chapter Commanding Officers. All you need is three or more friends who share the same interests, and you will soon be traversing the galaxy.
STARFLEET TASK FORCE 31- The North America Star Trek Fan Club
STARFLEET TASK FORCE 31 is one of the newer Star Trek Fan Clubs that has emerged from the added enthusiasm and interests in the Star Trek phenomena in recent years.
STARFLEET TASK FORCE 31 is a fan organization with one main purpose: The enjoyment of Star Trek© as an individual or family hobby. Members throughout North America are encouraged to share local Trek happenings through one easily accessible organization whose goal is to promote the concept of IDIC, Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations.
Members can expand their involvement by joining the meeting or correspondence chapters of their choice. Chapters are local area clubs which are considered fictional Starships or installations, where fictional rank and position are available along with many opportunities to meet other fans, participate in Trek/Social Activities and some choose to serve the local community. When you sign up, included with your electronic membership packet will be a list of all of our chapters so you can find the one nearest you or, if there are no chapters close by you, information on how to start your own! We’ve all dreamed of being a Starship Captain … here is your chance. In addition to include everyone, if you are unable or choose not to participate in a local Chapter there is a section at each Sector Starbase that oversees all unassigned members of that particular Sector.
